Overview
Our two newly renovated, self-contained cabins are cosy, comfortable, and perfect for that country escape.
Each cabin has a king bed plus a bunk with two singles, accommodating up to four guests. Inside you’ll find a kitchen with cooking utensils, a dining table, an ensuite, and everything you need to cook and relax. Step outside to your own private balcony and take in beautiful views over Bathurst and beyond.
The cabins offer peace and quiet that feels a world away, yet Bathurst’s historic township is just a five-minute drive down the road. Guests are welcome to wander our 30-acre grounds, often shared with kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
And of course, you’re right on Conrod Straight, part of the legendary Mount Panorama racing circuit. From our doorstep you can walk up to the track, head to the lookout, and take in sweeping views across the valley before returning to the comfort of your cabin.

Can I stay during the Bathurst 1000, the 12hr and 6h Supercar Events?
Absolutely! Our location on Conrod Straight makes us one of the most sought-after stays during the Bathurst 1000 and other annual motorsport events. However, due to high demand, we recommend booking well in advance and contacting our team directly for availability.
How close are you to Bathurst town centre?
We are just a 5-minute drive from Bathurst CBD, you’ll have the convenience of town nearby with the calm of country surrounds at your doorstep.
Do you have Wi-Fi on site?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in our main accommodation and function areas. Please note that speeds may vary across the property due to our bushland setting.
Is linen provided in the accommodation?
Yes - all motel rooms, cabins, Heritage Lodge and The Residence include linen and towels. For group lodges and dormitory-style accommodation, linen can be arranged at the time of booking (additional fees apply).
How can I book a stay at Bathurst Goldfields Resort?
For a weekend getaway or cabin stay, you can book directly online. For group bookings, school camps, or busy event weekends (like the Bathurst 1000), please contact our team directly so we can make sure everything is arranged to suit your needs.
Are pets allowed at Bathurst Goldfields Resort?
At this stage we don’t allow animals on the property, except for registered guide and assistance dogs.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Accommodation check-in is 2pm, with check-out at 10am.

Cabin was warm and clean, the service from the team was so welcoming and friendly, the food for dinners and breakfasts tasty and warm and nourishing...so glad we did not have to cook! Our bucket list trip to the Bathurst Race was made such an enjoyable adventure in terrible weather because of the team and facilities here at Goldfields. So close to the track, and just a steep walk away from all the event facilities you need.

The view is truly breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s peaceful yet close to everything you need. The location is stunning (awesome views), the accommodation is very comfortable, private and well equipped with everything you need including AC in every bedroom and multiple bathrooms ect.
