GOLD TOURS AND GOLD PANNING
Always phone ahead on 6332 2022 for tour times and access.

GOLD PANNING (1 hour sessions) from 11:00 am
Keep what you find. Great fun for all ages. Meet at Goldfields Visitor Centre.
No bookings required but please phone ahead for details.
Cost $5:00 chn, $6.50 for adults. (all children must be in the company of a fee paying adult ).

GOLD TOUR AND PANNING (2hrs)
Guided tour through the museum displays showing the methods of mining for gold, the tools and the machinery. At the outdoor museum help operate the authentic machines used during the 1850s. Then head to the blacksmith shop where the guide will create a work of art in steel.
Then try your hand at panning for the real gold.
Time 11:00 am Cost $10 per person, $30 family (2 adults and 2 children)

PARTIES AND THEMED DINNERS

Why not hold your next birthday, staff Christmas party or even conference at the Bathurst Goldfields and do one of our fun themed meal and show packages.

Mingle with the stars –
On arrival guests will be able to relax on our balcony with a cool refreshing beverage soaking up the best views of Bathurst whilst enjoying a selection of hot and cold finger food. After watching the sunset our astronomer will take you up to our state-of-the-art observatory and will spend an hour showing you the many wonders of the southern night sky.

Colonial Dinners –
Upon arrival guests will have a chance to enjoy a beverage from our bar. Our colonial entertainers will entertain you and are guaranteed to trigger your memories of songs from days gone by. Your two course meal will be served by our waitresses wearing traditional colonial costumes.

Toast the days of gold –
Looking for early retirement? Well, try to strike it rich at the Bathurst Goldfields.
Upon arrival our waitress dressed in traditional colonial costume will serve you with a selection of hot finger food while you sit back on our balcony looking over our historical gold rush site.
You will then be greeted by our tour guide who will take you back to the ye olde days and teach you how to find your millions. After an hour around the panning ponds you can stow away your gold find safely, and your waitress is on hand to serve you with your main course.


The Bathurst Goldfields themed dinner and show packages range from $33.00 to $45.00 per person.
