PAN FOR REAL GOLD
There is nothing like the excitement of panning with the chance of finding real gold. As well as the fun of the find, it’s a wonderful way to learn what it was like on the goldfields and how tough life would have been for the miners.

MAKE MUD BRICKS
Once you have made mud bricks you will realise how hard it was to provide shelter and homes on the diggings and in the new towns.

HISTORIC WORKING STEAM ENGINES
There is nothing like the energy and smell of a working steam engine. You’ll see how they helped change the way gold was mined and refined.

HELP THE BLACKSMITH
Our blacksmith will show you how to work iron into useful implements like those used on the goldfields. You may even get to work the forge.
